The State of Israel

My take on Israel

This is probably not going to be a popular view but as someone who is deeply passionate about biblical context, I feel the need to share. I don't do politics here nor do I talk about world conspiracies and agendas of the elite…but this one is encroaching on people's understanding of scripture. I also want to be clear that I am not saying "do not pray for Israel," what is happening is tragic, and like any tragedy we as believers have a responsibility to pray. What I do want to address is the fact that the people living in the nation state of Israel are not the biblical Israelites.

The Political State of Israel was established in 1948 after the Holocaust. The Balfour treaty was put into place giving Jewish refugees a portion of land to live in. This treaty was put into place by the elite British Rothschilds to support a Zionist movement. If you've never heard of Zionism here is a link with more information.

Zionism

Balfour Declaration

War & Prophecy

"According to Hassan S. Haddad, the application of the Biblical concepts of Jews as the chosen people and the "Promised Land" in Zionism, particularly to secular Jews, requires the belief that modern Jews are the primary descendants of biblical Jews and Israelites. This is considered important to the State of Israel, because its founding narrative is based on the biblical concept of "Gathering of the exiles" and the "Return to Zion", on the assumption that modern Jews are the primary descendants of the Jews of the biblical stories." -Wikipedia, Zionism

The spiritual aspect of Zionism is based on the belief that people have the power to establish Zion by gathering the Jewish exiles. This is not biblical. Zion of the bible (New Jerusalem) is brought down with the Messiah at His return- not established by people with a certain religious identity.

Revelation 21:10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God

Yahuah establishes His kingdom on earth. And Yahuah judges who will be gathered to inherit the land. Pay close attention to the "I will" in these passages:

Jeremiah 32:37-41 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’

Ezekiel 37:12-14 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’”

Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.

The resurrection (Ezekiel 37) has not occurred yet and covenant Israel has not been placed in the land BY YAHUAH yet. The Jewish people that are currently in the land of Israel were planted there by the Rothschilds; they practice different versions of Talmudic law and deny the Messiah. The Talmud is a collection of writings brought from the Babylonian Exile in 597 BC. Keep the Babylonian part in mind as we continue. They are not God's people, they are no different than unbelievers. Bloodline descendants or not, it doesn't matter. There is now NO JEW or gentile, we are one in Christ Jesus. (Gal. 3:28) If you are not in Christ Jesus, you are not in covenant as the chosen people. Living in the land of Israel does not make you anymore of God's people than the people living anywhere else in the world.

Romans 9:6-8 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

In Matthew 10:15 and Revelation 11:8 Jesus calls Jerusalem spiritual Sodom. He also warns ad nauseum about the traditions of the elders, leaven of the Pharisees, and unlawfulness of the Jewish traditions throughout the Gospels. Let's look at a few facts about the modern day "Holy Land."

  • The Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services estimates there to be 14,000 prostitutes in the country. The main center of prostitution in Israel is Tel Aviv. It has been estimated that 62% of the brothels and 48% of the massage parlors in the country are in Tel Aviv.

  • 'Tel Aviv Pride' is a week-long series of events in Tel Aviv which takes place on the second week of June, as part of the international observance of Gay Pride Month. The key event, taking place on the Friday, is the Pride Parade itself which attracts over 250,000 attendees. As of June 2019, it is the largest LGBT Parade in Asia.

  • According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics report from 2004, in 2003, most abortion requests were granted, with 19,500 legal abortions performed.

  • The religious affiliation of the Israeli population as of 2022 was 73.6% Jewish, 18.1% Muslim, 1.9% Christian.

  • In 2020, the population of Jerusalem was 59.9% Jews, 37.2% Muslims, 1.7% Christian. The center of Jerusalem is a Muslim worship temple, Dome of the Rock.

  • There is no "Star of David" in the bible as is seen on the Israeli National flag. There is, however, a verse reference to the star of Remphan- a pagan dietity. The 6 pointed star is found in other pagan religions around the world: Egypt, Mexico, Russia, Rome, Turkey, and in modern Wicca. In 2019 the Vatican allowed a statue of Moloch (aka Remphan) to be displayed in Rome- displayed in the center of the image is the "Star of David." (Please be aware of this as you display the star in efforts to support Israel. Remphan

Acts 7:43 You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of your god Remphan, images which you made to worship; and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

This is not a land inhabited by a people who are faithful or obedient to the God of the bible. Yet we see a great deception in the church today that continual support needs to be given to "Israel." Show me one single scripture that says a follower of Christ should fund prostitution, LGBT, abortion, or pagan worship. But that's exactly what happens as Christians all over the world, particularly in America, "stand with Israel!"

The problem lies with a serious identity crisis. Man made doctrines over the centuries have picked apart the scriptures and changed meanings of passages to fit agendas and denominations (to dominate what you believe). One of the most prominent lies Christianity believes is that there is a separation of the church and Israel. There are many forms of this theology most prominently associated with John Nelson Darby, but no matter which way you spin it, it's unbiblical. There is no separate covenant with the "New Testament Church" just like there is no separate covenant with people of Jewish lineage. The covenant stands as:

Jeremiah 31:31-33 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

When you come to faith and belief in the Son of the Living God and disciple after His ways, you are grafted into the olive tree and guaranteed an inheritance as a citizen of the commonwealth of Israel.

Romans 11:19-23 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Ephesians 2:11-13 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh- who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision (Jews) made in the flesh by hands- that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Covenant Israel

Israel was the name given to Jacob after He "wrestled with God" in Genesis 32. See this blog post for more on what it means to wrestle with God and be given His blessing. Blog

Throughout the Torah we see repeatedly "one law for the native born and the stranger." We see Rahab and Ruth being brought into covenant Israel. We also see covenant Israel rebelling and being blotted out. Covenant Israel is about faith and obedience, not lineage or the country you live in! I am Israel, you are Israel! We, the dispersed children of Yahuah, are the Israel we are to be praying for until He gathers us back to be one nation in Zion- HIS Holy Mountain. The covenant is for Israel and Judah to be one again under the Messiah's kingship- which means descendants of Judah must put their faith in the Messiah to be a part of the covenant. It's the blood of Jesus that grants you access to the covenant- not Jewish heritage!

Ezekiel 37:16-17 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.

Again, I'm not not saying don't pray for the nation state, what I am saying is that they are no different than any other country around the world being attacked. There is no biblical prophecy being fulfilled right now, Revelation is not unfolding before your eyes. This, yes, could be the start of "wars and rumors of wars," but #1 War has been going on in that land literally since Abraham's day, #2 There is a whole lot more that has to come before the end-

Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

I truly believe the ruler of this world- Satan- and his powers that be, know more about biblical prophecy than the vast majority of Christians. They know which strings to pull, what fear to instill, how to manipulate times and seasons to deceive people into thinking something significant is happening- such as Israel declaring war during the Feast of Tabernacles. The majority of Christians don't even know what Sukkot is but all of the sudden everyone thinks something significant is happening because the fact that this attack occurred during a Jewish feast, is now a public headline. Sounds suspicious to me. Take a second to seriously consider this: Everytime a "biblical prophecy is fulfilled" Christians everywhere get ready for the rapture of the church…let this happen year after year after year, eventually people start wondering "where is Jesus, why am I still here," and their faith weakens - there you have a great falling away. Satan does his due diligence to distract with every rumor and conspiracy to keep you from actually studying your bible, and if you do study your bible it will be with the lens of doctrines (like the separation of the church and Israel theology) instead of Spirit led.

We have to stop getting caught up in every "prophecy" and understand that there is an order to the scriptures, order to the end times prophecies, order to Yahuah establishing the New Jerusalem, and there is absolutely nothing that mankind can do to stop or start any of it. When something comes up, find it in your bible and check the context: what are the time qualifiers?, who or what is causing the issue at hand?, how is the issue lining up with other events? We cannot use Revelation 16:12 everytime the river Euphrates has a dry season to say it's the end- that is a bowl of wrath that doesn't occur until well after the tribulation seals, trumpets, and the resurrection. Likewise, we can't say Israel being attacked is the start of Armageddon. There is a LOT that has to take place first, including the resurrection. Study, study, study! The plan is established and can't be avoided. Bad things are going to continue to happen, events will unfold when they unfold! That's not our focus- our focus is to be on repentance and relationship with the Father. We are not to "keep our eyes on Israel" as the nation state, but keep our eyes on the coming Kingdom!
