My Book Shelf!

If you were to come over for coffee and bible study, these are the books you find on my bookshelf…or spread out across the table. I have compiled a list of my favorite go-to texts for church history, biblical creation, and of course, remove writings. We tend heir on the side of caution when it comes to picking up books that are not within the 66 book bible, but with that caution, and spiritual discernment, we have come to see many books that were once apart of the biblical canon, are indeed inspired scripture. If you are unsure of what to believe as truth, focus on these three check points: Does is align with the Laws written within the Torah? Does it accurately depict prophecy of the Messiah that the New Testament confirms? Does is hold to the story line of the history contained within the bible? While I encourage exploration of “outside” texts, I also strongly urge the use of caution and common sense. If a book goes against the timeline, Kingdom descriptions, and Covenant promises of the bible- it is more than likely a false writing. Click Here!

Foundation of Belief

Yahuah, the Almighty Father, is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. He appointed His Son, the first born of all Creation, to be a King and a Priest for mankind. At the Father's appointed time, Yahusha took off His Heavenly glory and came to earth to be born in the flesh. As a man, He was able to experience everything we experience - temptations, hunger, exhaustion, overwhelm- but remained completely obedient to the Father.

During the time of the Son's ministry He taught the Covenant promises of Yahuah- the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life and the Kingdom of God that is prophesied to come to earth as the land of inheritance. Along with this promise of the Kingdom is a call to repent from sins to follow the covenant ways of God Almighty; this is the same message the prophets before Him proclaimed- do right behavior out of faith in Yahuah, and live. Yahusha exemplified Kingdom behavior as prescribed in the law of God and gave proof of the authority the Father had given Him through miracles; this authority was also shared with His followers who were learning to walk in obedience.

The anointed Son was martyred by religious leaders who did not keep the law of God or understand the prophecy that was unfolding before them. Yahuah's Son suffered the Roman crucifixion and His soul went to depths of Sheol for three days and three nights. But because He was found obedient, without sin, Yahusha earned the promise of the resurrection as the forerunner. Yahusha rose from the grave in a glorified body that was able to ascend back up through the firmaments of heaven where He ministers on our behalf at the right hand of the Almighty.

With the authority that the Father gave the Son, He is able to pour out deposits of the Spirit of God to help us in our discipleship- learning the Kingdom behavior and practicing the law of God. When we have struggles and fall into sin, our High Priest is sympathetic to offer forgiveness when we repent and seek righteousness.

At the appointed time, at the end of the age when lawlessness and wickedness has become exceedingly abundant, the Father will send forth His Son along with myriads of angels to destroy the wicked and bind the enemy, Satan. But before the wrath of God is poured, the promised resurrection of the righteous will be fulfilled. Those who rest in Sheol will be brought up and given immortal, glorified bodies that are able to inherit the Kingdom that is descending down from the Heavens with Yahusha.

After all wickedness is purged, the city of God will sit upon the earth as the home of the resurrected ones, and as a refuge to the survivors of the nations. The Son will reign as King for one thousand years as prophesied and those who were resurrected will act as a kingdom Priesthood; exemplifying a holy nation. At the end of the thousand years, there will be a second resurrection for the unrighteous to be judged and thrown in the lake of fire, along with Satan and his rebellious angels. This will also be the final judgement for surviving mankind where they also may be changed into glorified bodies to inherit the Kingdom. All of creation will be renewed forever; the Father and the Son will be dwelling among man forever; a covenant of peace will be established forever.

This is the good news!
